About the Installation Process
Installation is preceded by a series of preparatory steps:
Demolition, Excavation and Removal of existing material
Grading and Slope settings are established to prepare new installation.
Compaction of the sub-base is done to ensure stability and long life.
A base material of crushed concrete ‘fines’ or sand is then laid down to give the integrated paver proper strength and support.
The pavers are cut to match the plan and carefully installed in place.
A concrete toe is poured around the outside edges to keep the pavers securely in place.
Finally, sand is swept into the paver joints to interlock them for strength.
About Installation Times
Typical installation occurs 4 to 12 weeks from contract signing, depending on:
The types of pavers chosen
Securing any needed permits
Scheduling and performing the installation
